Brenna woke up this morning... "no problem". Daddy made her buttermilk pancakes with Chocolate Milk while I got her things together. She was yawning the whole time we were getting ready, I tried to tell her go to bed early but she wouldn't listen. I could tell last night though that she was very excited. I took tons of pictures, so much that she started to get mad. :D Soon as we got to the school she ran in like she owned the place and was so happy to see her teacher's and Sally. Then she saw Mira walk in and her little face just lit up with joy! She ran to give her a hug, it was the sweetest thing I've ever saw. She hung up her backpack on her new hook which was moved to the front. Then she sat on the Red Circle (which later she corrected me) that it was the "Red Line". LOL! She's something else. Sandy called Sally several times during the day to see how thing's were going and she said Brenna did great! Everyone was so proud. This was her first year going all day and she got to have nap time, which the nap turned into an hour and a half nap!! Sally said she was tired Brenna kept saying everyone be quiet so I can sleep.... be quiet so I can sleep... and Ms. Saba said "Brenna... your the only one talking if you would stop talking and keeping yourself awake you could go to sleep". Then Brenna says ok.... and out she went! :D When I picked her up Ms. Jodie said she had a huge improvement from last year, however "we haven't gotten into any Curriculum or Activities yet but I'm sure she will do much better". :D I was cracking up! On the way home she talked about how much she loved it and how they played Duck, Duck, Goose. It was a great day, I'm so glad I was able to be there and witness it. Last year I was working and it seemed I never got to do anything with her at school. I hope this year is much better. She is missing her Aunt MiMi and Papaw Jim though. She said "Mommy will I ever get to go back to their house"? :( How sweet?? Don't worry Jamie I'm sure I will need a day off sometime and it will be like old times... she misses you. Well, off to bath time... another school day tomorrow. :)
